About the Harbor Breeze FWH60BNK3LRS Remote

The FWH60BNK3LRS is a 60-in Fairwind in brushed nickel with an LED light. On a fan this size, dropping from high to low without getting up is the whole point of a remote. Ours restores that, plus on, off and dimming for the light.

What each button does

The layout is simple. Button 3 is high, 2 is medium and 1 is low. Button 0 stops the fan, and it's also the key you hold while pairing. The light button does two jobs: a quick tap turns the light on or off, and holding it down dims the light. Let go when the brightness looks right.

Setup & Pairing

Load the new remote with a 12V A23 battery, plus side toward the top, and replace the cover.
Cut power to the fan with the wall switch or breaker for a few seconds, then restore it.
Right away, while the 30-second window is open, hold the 0 button for about 5 seconds and watch for two blinks.
Run through high, medium and low, press 0, then tap the light to make sure everything answers.
Pair with any other remote-controlled fans turned off at the wall, so they don't pick up this remote as well.
