About the Harbor Breeze BRD48MBK6LR Remote

Model BRD48MBK6LR is the matte black version of the Bradbury 48-in LED. A broken remote leaves its light stuck at one brightness and the blades at one speed. This replacement handles both, and the included holder keeps it where you can find it.

Wall switch or breaker

Pairing needs a fresh power-up. If your fan is on a wall switch, that's the easy way: off, a few seconds' pause, then on. If the fan has constant power and no switch, use the circuit breaker instead. Either way, leave the power on afterward, since the remote can't wake a fan that has no power.

Keeping it by the bed

A remote on the nightstand means no getting up to slow the fan at two in the morning. If that's where you use it most, put the wall holder by the bed instead of by the door. The fan doesn't care where the remote lives once it's paired.

Setup & Pairing

No DIP switches here. Just follow these steps.

Put one 12V A23 battery in the new remote, positive end toward the top, and close the cover.
Turn the fan's power off at the wall switch or breaker, then turn it back on.
Within 30 seconds, press and hold the 0 (fan off) button for about 5 seconds, until the fan light blinks twice.
Test the 3, 2 and 1 speed buttons and the light button to confirm the fan responds.
If other fans with learning receivers are nearby, switch them off at the wall while you pair so they don't learn this remote too.

In the box: Replacement remote for the BRD48MBK6LR and wall mount holder. Battery not included (needs one 12V A23).
