About the Harbor Breeze A25-TX025 Remote

Is your old remote marked A25-TX025 on the back or under the battery cover? This replacement takes over every button: speeds 1 to 6, Natural Breeze, reverse, light dimming, the sleep timer and Home Shield.

Check the label on your old remote: if it reads A25-TX025, you're set. It learns your fan's existing receiver with the Learn button, so there's nothing to rewire and no new receiver to buy.

What Natural Breeze does

Natural Breeze mode varies the fan's speed on its own, so the air feels more like a breeze through an open window than a steady blast. Many people like it for porches, sunrooms and summer evenings. Press any speed button to go back to a fixed speed.

Choosing among six speeds

Speed 1 is the gentlest and speed 6 the strongest. The middle speeds suit most evenings, while 5 or 6 earn their keep on hot afternoons or in a crowded room. A ceiling fan cools people rather than the room itself, so switch it off when the room is empty.

Before you order

This is the remote only; the receiver in your fan has to be in working order.
Don't power the fan from a rheostat or full-range dimmer wall control; it can damage the fan or the remote.

Setup & Pairing

Fit one 12V A23 battery into the A25-TX025 remote, lining up the + and - ends.
Turn the fan's power off at the wall switch or breaker, then back on. The receiver plays two tones.
Within 30 seconds, press the Learn button on the back of the remote.
When the light flashes 3 times, stays on, and the fan spins up on high, pairing is done.
If nothing happens, cycle the power again and press Learn faster.
If another remote also runs this fan, slide the DIP switch in the battery compartment from 0 to 1 and pair again.

Tip: after pairing, test each speed, the light and reverse before you mount the cradle.

In the box: one A25-TX025 replacement remote, a wall cradle plus screws, and printed instructions. The A23 battery is sold separately.
