About the Harbor Breeze 43365 Remote

The 43365 is a Providence ceiling fan made to be run by remote. If yours has quit or disappeared, this Comfort Direct replacement restores the full set: three speeds, dimming, light color, breeze mode, the timer and Home Shield.

Look for the model number on the fan's motor label. If it says 43365, you're in the right place. Pairing is quick: restore power, press LEARN inside the battery cover, and the fan answers.

Where the remote's number is printed

Turn the old remote over and check the label on the back, then slide off the battery cover and look inside. The number is usually printed in one of those two spots. If the label is worn away, the fan's model number works just as well for choosing a replacement.

How learn-button pairing works

There are no DIP switches to set. For a short window after power comes back on, the fan's receiver listens for a new remote. Pressing LEARN during that window teaches the receiver this remote's signal. That's why the steps ask you to cut the power first and then move quickly.

Setup & Pairing

Slide off the battery cover and fit a fresh 12V A23 battery.
Turn off power to the Harbor Breeze 43365 at the wall switch or breaker for about 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
Within 30 seconds of restoring power, press the LEARN button inside the battery compartment. A small screwdriver or pen tip helps.
When the fan or light reacts, pairing is done. If nothing happens, run the power cycle again and retry LEARN within 30 seconds.
Check the speeds, light and color buttons, and put the holder up by the switch.
