About the Harbor Breeze 43349 Remote

We made this remote for the Harbor Breeze 43349 from the Boltz III collection. It pairs to the fan's existing receiver with a LEARN button and runs three speeds, the light, breeze mode, the timer and Home Shield.

Before ordering, check that the motor label or box reads 43349. Once the remote arrives, it pairs with a LEARN button press within 30 seconds of turning the power back on.

How learn-button pairing works

There are no DIP switches to set. For a short window after power comes back on, the fan's receiver listens for a new remote. Pressing LEARN during that window teaches the receiver this remote's signal. That's why the steps ask you to cut the power first and then move quickly.

New home, no remote?

Setup & Pairing

Have the battery in and a pen ready before you start.

Slide off the battery cover and fit a fresh 12V A23 battery.
Cut power to the Harbor Breeze 43349 for roughly 10 seconds at the switch or breaker and turn it back on.
Right away, within the 30-second window, press the LEARN button in the battery compartment.
Watch for the fan or light to respond. No response? Power-cycle again and press LEARN a little sooner.
Try all three speeds, the light and dimming, then hang the wall holder.
