About the Harbor Breeze BRD60MBK6LR Remote

Your matte black Bradbury 60-in, model BRD60MBK6LR, is a big fan for a big room, and the remote is the only easy way to manage it. Ours replaces a lost or broken one with speed buttons, an off key and a light button that taps on and holds to dim.

What each button does

The layout is simple. Button 3 is high, 2 is medium and 1 is low. Button 0 stops the fan, and it's also the key you hold while pairing. The light button does two jobs: a quick tap turns the light on or off, and holding it down dims the light. Let go when the brightness looks right.

Getting the dimming right

Dimming isn't instant. Hold the light button and the brightness changes gradually through its range over several seconds. Let go as soon as it looks right. A quick tap won't dim at all; it simply toggles the light on or off, so if the level isn't moving, keep holding a little longer.

Before you order

Remote only: it relies on the receiver that's already inside your fan.
It won't pair with receivers from other remote families, so match your number to this page.

Setup & Pairing

Pairing uses a learning code, so there's nothing to set inside the fan.

Insert a fresh 12V A23 into the new remote with the positive end facing the top, and put the battery door back.
Turn the fan's power off at the wall switch or breaker, then turn it back on.
Right away, while the 30-second window is open, hold the 0 button for about 5 seconds and watch for two blinks.
Press each speed button in turn and toggle the light to confirm the pairing took.
If other fans with learning receivers are nearby, switch them off at the wall while you pair so they don't learn this remote too.

In the box: BRD60MBK6LR replacement remote with a wall holder. You'll need one 12V A23 battery, not included.
