The Harbor Breeze Rossman 54-in with the bronze finish and built-in LED light is model RS54EB6LR. Lowe's sold it as item 1158924. Before you undo a single wire nut, take a clear phone photo of how the old receiver is connected. Note which colored wire from the receiver joins which house or fan wire. That one picture makes the new hookup fast and saves guessing later.

Getting into the canopy

The receiver sits inside the canopy, the cover that hides the mounting bracket at the ceiling. Most canopies come down after you loosen two or more screws and slide the cover down the downrod. Have a helper or a sturdy ladder platform so the canopy is not hanging by its wires.

Setup & Pairing

Here is the whole job, start to finish.

Turn off power to the RS54EB6LR at the breaker.
Lower the canopy and disconnect the old receiver, noting which wire went where.
Make the same connections with the new receiver, tug-test each wire nut and fold the wires in neatly.
Power down any other nearby fans first; otherwise they could pair to the same remote.
Bring the power back and press and hold the remote's 0 button within about 30 seconds; let go when the light blinks twice.
Check every speed, then turn the light on, off and dim it.
