About the Harbor Breeze MZ44NWZ3LR Remote

The MZ44NWZ3LR is a bronze Mazon 44-in LED flush mount. Without its remote there's no easy way to change speed or dim the light on a fan that sits tight to the ceiling. This replacement fills that gap with three speeds, an off key and dimming.

Is it the remote or the receiver?

How low the Mazon light dims

The integrated LED in Mazon fans dims down to about 10% with the remote. Hold the light button to go lower, and the light comes back at that level next time you switch it on. Use the remote only for dimming, never a full-range wall dimmer, or the LED may flicker.

Setup & Pairing

Pairing uses a learning code, so there's nothing to set inside the fan.

Load the new remote with a 12V A23 battery, plus side toward the top, and replace the cover.
Switch the fan off at the wall, or at the breaker if it has no switch, wait a few seconds, and switch it back on.
Within 30 seconds, press and hold the 0 (fan off) button for about 5 seconds, until the fan light blinks twice.
Confirm the fan changes speed on 1, 2 and 3 and that the light switches and dims.
Other fans on? Switch them off first, or they may start answering this remote as well.
