About the Harbor Breeze LAB126A-BK Light Kit

If your Northline fan is the black version, its label reads LAB126A-BK. The light on this fan is an integrated LED module, and this replacement restores the matching 3000K warm white glow without changing how you control it, from the remote or the fan's own controls.

Before you order, look at the label on top of the motor housing. If it shows LAB126A-BK, this module is made for your fan. Hook it to the light leads just like the original and use the new mounting plate that comes with it. Your existing controls run it, so there is nothing to pair.

Test before the cover goes back

Once the new module is connected and mounted, restore power and try the light from your remote before you put the cover back. Run it through its brightness range. If something is off, you can check the connection without taking the cover down a second time.

Take a photo before you unplug

Snap a quick picture of the old module's wiring before you touch anything. It shows which lead went where and how the plate sat, and it is handy if you need to call us. Phones take good close-ups in tight spaces, so turn on the flash and get close.

Setup & Pairing

Shut off the breaker for the fan, not just the wall switch.
Take off the cover and lower the old module.
Connect the new module to the fan's light wiring the same way the old one was connected.
Hang it on the new mounting plate, then put the cover back.
Turn the breaker back on and try the light from your remote.

Tip: a photo of the old wiring makes reconnecting easy.
