Our replacement for the KUJCE10716 brings back High, Medium and Low, an Off key and a light button, so you can run your Harbor Breeze fan from across the room again. Flip the old remote over: KUJCE10716 sits after the FCC mark on the back label, sometimes inside the battery door instead. Some remotes marked KUJCE10716 came from a different maker than others built for these fans, so if yours carries this number, send us a photo and we'll confirm the match first.

Oxford 52-in fans

The Oxford 52-in uses an AM-3L receiver, and it's the one AM-3L fan this remote pairs with. Other Harbor Breeze fans with color-changing AM-3L receivers, such as the Mac III, Reverdy and Crestwell, need a different remote. If yours is an Oxford, pairing works the same way: power cycle, then Learn.

Finding the Learn button

The Learn button sits inside the battery compartment, so open the cover before you touch the wall switch. It's small, and a fingertip or pen tip works fine. Have the remote ready in your hand, since the 30-second window starts the moment power comes back.

Before you order

Some Harbor Breeze fans with a color-changing AM-3L receiver (Boltz III, Mac III, Reverdy, Flanagan III, Crestwell) need a different remote. Of the AM-3L fans, only the Oxford 52-in is a match.

Setup & Pairing

Here's how to pair the new remote with the receiver in your fan.

Load the 12V A23 battery and leave the battery cover off so you can reach the Learn button.
Turn the fan's power off at the wall switch or breaker.
Wait a few seconds, then restore power.
Press the Learn button in the battery compartment inside that 30-second window.
The fan runs on low and the light turns off when pairing is done.

If two fans share the breaker, switch the other one off at its wall switch while you pair.
