About the Harbor Breeze Kingsbury Remote

Harbor Breeze Kingsbury fans run on DC motors with a six-speed remote, but not every Kingsbury remote looks the same. Some owner's manuals show a remote with a slide season switch, which is a different layout. If yours matches the buttons described here, this replacement restores that control.

It's made for Harbor Breeze Kingsbury fans and pairs with the receiver already in the fan. Check your fan's manual or box for the Kingsbury name, then cycle the power and press Learn.

How learn-code pairing works

The remote sends a code that the receiver memorizes. The receiver only listens for a new code for a short time after power returns, which is why you press Learn within 30 seconds of switching the fan back on. Miss the window and simply try again.

Moved into a home with this fan?

Previous owners often take or lose fan remotes. Start by reading the model sticker on the motor housing, then look for the old manual in a kitchen drawer. Once you've matched the fan, pairing a new remote takes about a minute.

Setup & Pairing

Put a 12V A23 battery in the Kingsbury remote, matching the + and - marks.
Switch the fan off at its wall switch or breaker, then restore power and listen for two tones.
Within 30 seconds, press the Learn button on the back of the remote.
Success looks like three blinks of the light, then the light staying on and the fan running on high.
Didn't take? Start over at the power step and press Learn sooner after the tones.

Tip: after pairing, test each speed, the light and reverse before you mount the cradle.

In the box: one Kingsbury replacement remote, a wall cradle plus screws, and printed instructions. The A23 battery is sold separately.
