Missed the pairing window?

The fan only listens for a new remote for about 30 seconds after power comes back. If you were still reaching for the remote when that time ran out, nothing is broken. Switch the power off, wait a few seconds, turn it on again and hold 0 right away. Two blinks from the light mean it worked.

Setup & Pairing

Setup takes about a minute and needs no tools.

Start with the battery: one 12V A23, positive end up toward the top of the new remote. Close the cover.
Tip: turn off nearby fans before pairing, since their receivers would learn this remote too.
Flip the fan's wall switch off and on again. No switch? Use the breaker.
Before 30 seconds pass, press and keep holding 0 for around 5 seconds until the light flashes twice.
Check the speeds with 3, 2 and 1, and hold the light button to see it dim.

In the box: Replacement remote for the FW60AGV3LR and wall mount holder. Battery not included (needs one 12V A23).
