About the Harbor Breeze CAL52BNK5LRX Light Kit

Lowe's sold the brushed nickel Calverton 52-in as item 5974913, model CAL52BNK5LRX, with a 20W dimmable LED and a 3-speed remote. When that light fails, this module takes its place on the original mounting plate and keeps the five color settings from 2700K to 6500K.

Two sizes, two modules

The Calverton comes in 44-in and 52-in sizes, and their light modules are different sizes too. A module for one will not fit the other. Your model number shows the size right after the letters at the start, so check the label before you order.

Work from a steady ladder

Light modules are not heavy, but you will be holding parts over your head. Use a ladder tall enough that you are not stretching, and keep small parts in a cup or tray. A helper who hands you screws, or holds the module while you connect it, makes the job faster.

Before you order

Calverton 44-in fans use a different-size module. Order the Calverton 44-in version instead.

Setup & Pairing

Turn off power to the fan at the breaker.
Remove the light cover and take out the old LED module, keeping the mounting plate and screws.
Make the same connections the old module had.
Mount the module on your fan's plate and screws and put the cover back.
Restore power and test the light. No pairing is needed.

Tip: a photo of the old wiring makes reconnecting easy.
