About the Casablanca 59105 Receiver

The 59105 is a Casablanca Stealth, one of the DC-motor fans built around this receiver. If your Stealth no longer answers its remote, even with a fresh battery, this receiver goes in the canopy and pairs with your RH787T to bring back six speeds, reverse and the light.

Match the model number first; the fan label should show 59105. You wire it in where the old one sat, then press Set on your RH787T to pair.

Working from a ladder

You will have your arms overhead for a while. Use a sturdy ladder that lets you reach the canopy without stretching, and ask a helper to hand you tools. Keep screws in a cup so none disappear into the carpet.

Leave the wall switch on

The receiver needs power to hear the remote. If the wall switch is off, the fan will seem dead no matter how good the receiver is. A switch guard or a small label keeps people from turning it off by habit.

Before you order

Not a universal receiver. It is made for Casablanca DC fans that came with the RH787T remote.
Have the fan's power off at the breaker before you lower the canopy.

Setup & Pairing

Cut power at the breaker panel and confirm the fan is dead.
Lower the canopy of your fan to reach the old receiver.
Photograph the wiring, then disconnect the old receiver.
Connect the replacement receiver the same way, keeping the connections secure, and tuck it neatly back into the canopy.
Put the canopy back in place, then switch the breaker on.
Press the Set button on your RH787T within 60 seconds of restoring power, and wait about 5 minutes while the fan runs both ways.
Test each speed, reverse and the light.

Tip: if pairing fails, cycle power again and press Set sooner.

Why does my fan run both ways after pairing?

That is normal. The receiver finishes its setup with the DC motor for about 5 minutes, then stops on its own.
