About the Harbor Breeze TG44MBK3D1RC Light Kit

If your Beach Creek 44-in is the matte black one, the label on top of the motor reads TG44MBK3D1RC. A dead LED leaves the whole fixture looking unfinished, and there is no bulb to swap. This module restores dimmable 3000K light and connects with the supplied wiring connector in a short afternoon job.

Match the number first: the label on the motor housing should read TG44MBK3D1RC. It connects to the fan's light wire with the included connector. There is nothing to pair, and the remote still dims it.

Work from a steady ladder

Light modules are not heavy, but you will be holding parts over your head. Use a ladder tall enough that you are not stretching, and keep small parts in a cup or tray. A helper who hands you screws, or holds the module while you connect it, makes the job faster.

Hold on to the old module

Keep the old module until the new light is up and working. Comparing them side by side shows you how the new one sits. Once you are happy, recycle the old board with electronics rather than household trash, where your area allows.

Before you order

Check the model number on your fan's label: it should read TG44MBK3D1RC.
If only the light is out, check the wall switch and the blue light wire from the receiver in the canopy.

Setup & Pairing

Switch off the breaker for the fan before you start.
Remove the light cover and the old LED module. Lowering the fan makes the job easier.
Unhook the old module. A pin plug that will not match can be cut off and the wires joined with the supplied connector.
Mount the new module on the fan's metal mounting plate and replace the cover.
Restore power and try the light, including dimming, from the remote.

Tip: have a helper hold the module while you connect it.
