A wall switch may not cut every wire in the fixture, so switch off the circuit breaker before you touch any wiring. If you have a non-contact voltage tester, hold it near the wires to confirm the power is really off. Then you can work without worry.

Your remote stays the same

There's no new remote or pairing with this kit. The module draws power through the receiver already in your Mazon, so the remote you use today keeps turning the light on and off and dimming it once the new module is in.
