Need a new remote for your Harbor Breeze LP8293LBN ceiling fan? This replacement gets your brushed nickel LP8293LBN fan running again, with all six speeds, Natural Breeze, reverse, light dimming and the sleep timer. It talks to the RECDC8293 receiver built into the fan.

It is made for the Harbor Breeze LP8293LBN ceiling fan. Check the model number on your fan or in its manual: if it reads LP8293LBN, this is the one you need. It pairs with the RECDC8293 receiver built into the fan. Setup takes about a minute: turn the fan's power off and on, press the Learn button on the back, and you are done.

6 speeds + Natural Breeze: pick a speed from 1 to 6, or let the fan vary its speed like an outdoor breeze.
Light dimming: tap for on/off, press and hold to dim dimmable bulbs.
Reverse: switch the airflow for summer or winter right from your chair.
Learn-button pairing: cycle the power, press Learn, and you are set. Includes a wall-mount cradle.

Before you order

This remote is not universal. It is made for the LP8293LBN fan only, so check the model number on your fan or in its manual.
No receiver is included. Your fan's RECDC8293 receiver must still be working.

Setup & Pairing

Put a 12V A23 battery (sold separately) in the remote, matching the + and - marks.
Turn the fan's power off at the wall switch or breaker, then turn it back on. The receiver plays two tones.
Within 30 seconds, press the Learn button on the back of the remote.
The light blinks 3 times and stays on, and the fan starts on high. That means it is paired.
No luck? Repeat the power off/on step and press the Learn button a little sooner.
