About the Harbor Breeze HTD20004 Light Kit

The HTD20004 is the Berkshire 52-in that Lowe's sold as item 2599774, and its light is built in rather than using bulbs. When that integrated LED goes dark or starts to flicker, this 18W, 3000K module takes its place and shines at more than 900 lumens at full brightness.

Not sure of your model? A flashlight and a look at the sticker on top of the motor housing will tell you, and HTD20004 there means you are in the right place. Wiring is simple: black meets black, white meets white, and the module mounts to the switch housing through its keyslot holes. Your remote or pull chain keeps control, with no pairing step.

Turn off the breaker first

A wall switch does not always cut every wire inside a fan. Flip the breaker for that room and confirm the fan is dead before you open the light. It takes a minute, and it turns a ceiling job into a safe one. Tape a note on the panel so nobody switches it back on.

If the new light flickers

A flicker right after install usually means a connection that is not fully seated. Turn the breaker off, press the connector together until it is firm, and try again. Also make sure the wall switch is a plain on/off switch, since a separate wall dimmer can upset integrated LEDs.

Before you order

Made for Berkshire fans only; it is not a universal LED kit.

Setup & Pairing

Turn off power to the fan at the breaker.
Remove the light cover and take down the old LED module.
Pull apart the black and white single-pin connectors.
Connect the new module black to black and white to white.
Fit the keyslot holes over the switch housing screws and snug them down.
Power up and check every brightness level from the remote.

Tip: a photo of the old wiring makes reconnecting easy.
