The E22P88426 is the remote Mitsubishi supplies with its larger-capacity ductless wall units. When it goes missing or stops working, this replacement gives you mode, temperature, fan speed, vane swing, timer and memory again, with a range of up to about 33 feet.

If your unit heats as well as cools, use the Mode button to switch to heating, just like the original remote.

Will this work on a 9,000 to 15,000 BTU unit?

No. Smaller 9,000 to 15,000 BTU units use a different remote, our U01A05426.

How can I tell if my old remote is just out of batteries?

Try fresh batteries first. Then point the old remote at a phone camera and press a button: if you see no flicker on screen, the remote has likely failed.
