Before you order

Setup & Pairing

Slide off the battery cover on your new 59246 remote to find the DIP switches.
Copy the up/down pattern of switches 1 to 4 from your old remote, or from the receiver in the fan canopy. A very small screwdriver opens the receiver box.
Don't know the old code? Try the 16 combinations one at a time until the fan responds.
Set switch 5 to off if your light is not dimmable. This prevents flicker.
Put in a 12V A23 battery, close the cover and test the fan and light.

In the box: 59246 replacement remote, wall mount holder, 2 mounting screws and a programming manual. Battery not included.
