About the Comfort Direct UC8011T Remote

Lost or broken your UC8011T remote? This replacement brings back full control of your ceiling fan: three speeds, off, reverse, and light on/off with dimming. It runs on the same 303.764 MHz signal as the original.

It is made for fans that came with the UC8011T remote and have a 4-DIP-switch receiver. Check the label on your old remote: if it reads UC8011T, this is the one you need. Match the code switches to the ones in your fan's canopy and you're done.

Before you order

Your fan needs a receiver with 4 DIP code switches. This remote won't pair with learning-code (press-and-hold) receivers.
This is a remote only. If the receiver in your fan has failed, a new remote won't fix it.

Setup & Pairing

Turn off power to the fan at the breaker.
Open the battery cover on the UC8011T remote to find the four code switches. The receiver in the fan canopy has a matching set.
Use a pen tip or small screwdriver to set the remote and the receiver to the same up/down pattern. Don't leave them at the all-up factory setting; pick a different pattern.
Restore power and test. If the fan or light turns on or off by itself, choose a new pattern and set it on both the remote and the receiver.

How do I pair the UC8011T remote with my fan?
