About the Soleus Air Air Conditioner Remote

Soleus Air makes window air conditioners, including the saddle-style models that straddle the sill, along with portable units. All of them are usually controlled from the room side with a handheld remote. If yours has died or disappeared, this replacement is set up for Soleus Air.

The instructions give Soleus Air a long starting list of twenty-four codes. That's more trial and error than some brands, but it also means more chances to land on a code that runs every button you use. Keep a pencil handy and check them off.

It sends infrared up to about 25 feet with line of sight. On a saddle unit, aim at the indoor-side panel. A wall bracket is in the box; two AAA batteries are not. Ships same day if ordered by 4 PM Central, with a 1-year warranty and 90-day returns.

Setup & Pairing

Soleus Air starting codes, in order: 0301, 0302, 0303, 0304, 0305, 0306, 0307, 0308, 0813, 1843, 0273, 0274, 0275, 0276, 0277, 0278, 0279, 0280, 0281, 0476, 0493, 0570, 0786, 1305.

Insert two AAA batteries.
Pull the cover at the base of the remote's face downward to find SELECT. To type a code, use the digit printed small in the bottom-left corner of each key.
Press SELECT, enter 0301, and press power aimed at the indoor side of your Soleus Air.
If nothing happens, enter the next code on the list.
Once it reacts, run through temperature, mode and fan. If the AC answers but a button does nothing, keep going down the list for a better code.

Fallback: if none of the twenty-four respond, hold SELECT for 5 seconds. The auto-search sends codes on its own; press any key immediately when the unit beeps or switches on or off.

Then press CLOCK, set the time with TIME +/−, press CLOCK, and use C/F for Fahrenheit.
