Setup & Pairing

A quick one-time setup for Philco units.

1. Slide the rear cover off and add two AAA batteries.
2. Ease the lower front panel downward to find SELECT. For the code, use the small digits printed in the bottom-left corner of each key.
3. Press SELECT. When the code area blinks, type 0210.
4. Point at your Philco and press a key. If it doesn't respond, press SELECT and enter the next Philco code: 0210, 0211, 0487, 0488, 1746, in order.
5. When it responds, check the buttons you use most. If the unit responds but a button does nothing, try the next Philco code.

Auto-search backup: pointing the remote at the AC, hold SELECT for 5 seconds. It begins sending codes. Press any key as soon as the Philco beeps or changes state, and the code is saved. This can be slow, so keep it aimed the whole time.

Then press CLOCK, set the time with TIME +/-, and press CLOCK to save. Press C/F to pick your units.
