About the Harbor Breeze LP8294LBN Remote

Is your Harbor Breeze LP8294LBN fan stuck without a remote? Our replacement puts you back in control of the fan and light, from speed 1 to 6, plus Natural Breeze, reverse, dimming and Home Shield. It talks to the RECDC8294 receiver already in the fan.

It is made for the Harbor Breeze LP8294LBN ceiling fan. Check the model number on your fan or in its manual: if it reads LP8294LBN, this is the one you need. It pairs with the RECDC8294 receiver already in the fan. There is nothing to rewire. Cycle the fan's power, press Learn within 30 seconds, and the fan starts on high to confirm it is paired.

6 speeds + Natural Breeze: pick a speed from 1 to 6, or let the fan vary its speed like an outdoor breeze.
Reverse: switch the airflow for summer or winter right from your chair.
Sleep timer and Walk Away: shut the fan off after 2, 4 or 8 hours, or one minute after you leave the room.
Learn-button pairing: cycle the power, press Learn, and you are set. Includes a wall-mount cradle.

This remote is not universal. It is made for the LP8294LBN fan only, so check the model number on your fan or in its manual.
No receiver is included. Your fan's RECDC8294 receiver must still be working.

Setup & Pairing

Put a 12V A23 battery (sold separately) in the remote, matching the + and - marks.
Turn the fan's power off at the wall switch or breaker, then turn it back on. The receiver plays two tones.
Within 30 seconds, press the Learn button on the back of the remote.
The light blinks 3 times and stays on, and the fan starts on high. That means it is paired.
No luck? Repeat the power off/on step and press the Learn button a little sooner.
