About the Hampton Bay / Home Decorators Collection Bladeridge Remote

Lost the remote for your Bladeridge ceiling fan? This replacement gives you three speeds and off, light on/off and press-and-hold dimming from anywhere in the room. On color-changing LED lights, a color temperature button switches the light tone.

It is made for Bladeridge fans that use a 304 MHz DIP-switch receiver. Fans can ship with different remotes, so check the label and buttons on your old remote before you order. If yours matches, pairing is just four DIP switches.

Before you order

Hampton Bay and Home Decorators Collection use several different remotes, so the label on your old remote is the surest match.
Not a universal remote. It works only with fans that already have the matching 304 MHz DIP-switch receiver.
Receiver not included, so it will not add remote control to a fan that doesn't already have one.

Setup & Pairing

Slide off the battery cover on your new Bladeridge remote to find the DIP switches.
Copy the up/down pattern of switches 1 to 4 from your old remote, or from the receiver in the fan canopy. A very small screwdriver opens the receiver box.
Don't know the old code? Try the 16 combinations one at a time until the fan responds.
Set switch 5 to off if your light is not dimmable. This prevents flicker.
Put in a 12V A23 battery, close the cover and test the fan and light.
Have more than one of these fans? Give each fan and its remote its own code so one remote doesn't run them all.

In the box: Bladeridge replacement remote, wall mount holder, 2 mounting screws and a programming manual. Battery not included.

How do I pair this remote with my Bladeridge fan?

Open the battery cover and set DIP switches 1 to 4 to the same up/down pattern as your old remote or the receiver in the fan canopy. There are no buttons to hold and no programming steps.

What battery does the Bladeridge remote take?

One 12V A23 battery. It is not included, so grab one before the remote arrives.

Does it dim the light and change the color?
