About the Invacare 5411IVC Hand Control
The Invacare 5411IVC is the Canadian version of the IVC full-electric homecare bed. Our replacement restores six-button control of head, foot and bed height.
Confirm the model on the bed's label before you order; this page is for the 5411IVC. Unplug the old pendant and plug in the new one; that's it.

Six functions
The six buttons raise and lower the head, raise and lower the foot, and raise and lower the whole bed. That's full-electric control, so there's no hand crank for height.
Full-electric beds only
Semi-electric IVC beds use a 4-button pendant and a hand crank for height, so this 6-button pendant isn't for them. It also isn't for the manual 5307IVC bed. Count the buttons on your old pendant to be sure.
Before you order
- Based on its product line, we expect the 5411IVC to use this pendant. Check that your old pendant has six buttons and a 10-pin plug, or send us a photo before you order.
- Not for Invacare semi-electric beds (5310IVC, 5311IVC), which use a 4-button pendant and a hand crank for height.
- Not for the manual 5307IVC bed.
Setup & Pairing
No tools needed; the swap takes a minute or two.
- Disconnect the bed from the wall outlet.
- Unplug the old pendant from the bed's junction box connector.
- Connect the new pendant firmly, listening for the click, and lock the strain relief.
- Keep the cord clear of moving parts, restore power and try every button.
Clip the pendant to the sheet so it stays within reach.
