About the Invacare 1115290 Hand Control
When the 1115290 pendant stops working, the bed is stuck in place. This replacement brings back head up and down, foot up and down, and bed height from one hand control. 1115290 is printed on the label on the back of the original pendant. The original is a 6-button pendant with a phone-style plug and a clip for the bed sheet.
If 1115290 is on your old pendant, you're in the right place. Unplug the old pendant and plug in the new one; that's it.

If the bed stops responding
The bed's motors have thermal protection that can pause operation for up to 30 minutes after heavy use. If the bed stops after many adjustments in a row, wait before you assume the pendant has failed.
The sheet clip
A clip built into the back of the pendant holds it on the bed sheet, so it stays within reach and doesn't slip to the floor. Clip it near the hand of the person using the bed.
Before you order
- Not for Invacare semi-electric beds (5310IVC, 5311IVC), which use a 4-button pendant and a hand crank for height.
- Not for the manual 5307IVC bed.
Setup & Pairing
No tools needed; the swap takes a minute or two.
- Unplug the bed from the wall outlet.
- Remove the old pendant's plug from the junction box.
- Push the new pendant's plug in until it clicks, then secure the cable lock or strain relief.
- Route the cord away from moving parts, plug the bed back in and test each button.
Clip the pendant to the sheet so it stays within reach.
