Need a new remote for a Harbor Breeze fan that came with a TR258B? This learning-code replacement handles High, Medium, Low and Off, plus the light, on 3-speed AC fans like the Boltz, Boltz II and Oxford 52-in.

Check the label on your old remote: if it reads TR258B, this is the one you need. Some TR258B remotes were built by a different maker, so if you're unsure, send our team a photo first. Pairing takes a power cycle and one press of the Learn button.

Before you order

Not for DC-motor fans or fans with DIP-switch remotes and receivers.
Some Harbor Breeze fans with a color-changing AM-3L receiver (Boltz III, Mac III, Reverdy, Flanagan III, Crestwell) need a different remote. Of the AM-3L fans, only the Oxford 52-in is a match.
It pairs one remote per receiver, so it won't run a setup with two remotes on one fan.

Setup & Pairing

Install one 12V A23 battery in the TR258B replacement.
Turn the fan's power off at the wall switch or breaker.
Turn the power back on.
Within 30 seconds, press the Learn button inside the remote's battery compartment.
The fan runs on low and the light turns off when pairing is done.

In the box: TR258B replacement remote, wall mount bracket, mounting screws and instructions.

How do I pair the TR258B remote with my fan?
