About the Fujitsu Mini-Split Remote

Fujitsu ductless systems, from Halcyon wall mounts to Airstage installs, are built around a wireless handheld. If yours cracked, quit, or vanished into a couch, this remote takes over the daily jobs: switching modes, adjusting the set point, picking a fan speed and moving the vane.

Was your old one an AR-RAH, AR-RPB1U or AR-REG1U? If your original remote was one of those, this is the replacement we set up for Fujitsu owners. It is programmed with one of sixteen Fujitsu codes, tried in order, and it has an automatic search for the rare unit the list misses.

Setup & Pairing

Setting it up for Fujitsu means entering a 4-digit code once. Here is the full routine.

Put two AAA batteries in the back, minding the + and - marks.
Lower the sliding panel on the front. The SELECT key is under it, and the tiny number in the bottom-left corner of each key is the digit it types.
Fujitsu codes, first to last: 0127, 0128, 0129, 0130, 0131, 0132, 0133, 0134, 0135, 0136, 0137, 0464, 0552, 0553, 0554, 1152.
Press SELECT, watch the code area flash, and enter the first Fujitsu code.
Point at the indoor unit and try power. If nothing happens, press SELECT and enter the next code on the list.
When the unit answers, run through mode, temperature, fan and vane. A key that does nothing means you should try the next Fujitsu code.
Still no luck after the list? Aim the remote, hold SELECT for 5 seconds and release to start the automatic search. Press any key as soon as the unit reacts, and the code is saved.

Last step: set the time (CLOCK, then TIME +/-, then CLOCK) and press C/F to choose Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Can this replace my AR-RAH2U remote?

If your original remote was an AR-RAH series like the AR-RAH2U, or an AR-RPB1U or AR-REG1U, this replacement is set up for Fujitsu with the Fujitsu codes. Enter them in order until the unit responds fully.

Does it control heat on a Fujitsu heat pump?

Yes, Heat is one of the modes. Switch to it with the mode key once a working Fujitsu code is entered.
